Concourse Offers Internal Audit and Risk Management Teams Ease of Use to Help Reduce Risk and Increase Productivity

IIA 2014 GENERAL AUDIT MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE, Orlando, FL (Business Wire) – March 24, 2014 – Incisive (booth #407), a provider of award-winning enterprise-class spreadsheet risk analysis and management solutions, today announced the next version of Concourse, the company spreadsheet collaboration and control application. Available today, Concourse provides internal audit and risk management teams unprecedented flexibility and visibility to manage spreadsheet risk and usage across the organization. Spreadsheet users choose Concourse for its ease of use to reduce risk and increase productivity.

“Spreadsheet usage continues to be prevalent, and in some areas, spreadsheet usage is on the rise. Spreadsheets offer an ease of use and flexibility that no other business application has been able to replace. However, it is common knowledge that spreadsheets have been known to introduce risk,” said Diane Robinette, president, Incisive. “Concourse is designed to provide the necessary visibility into spreadsheets and their usage so that companies can continue to rely on spreadsheets to support their core business processes, while eliminating risk.”

The next generation of Concourse includes new subscription-based alerts. Users can create alerts and subscribe users to receive these alerts, and is as simple as selecting criteria from a drop down menu or a click of a button. Configurable alerts can be sent via email and/or an RSS feed. Alerts can be configured to activate on cell value or percentage, cell calculation value or percentage, formula change, formula reference, as well as row and column insert/delete/move changes.

Users can now also compare two versions of a spreadsheet to better understand what has changed between the revisions. Concourse also offers users with even easier access to reports displaying potential risks and changes between versions. With the click of a button, users can quickly see what has changed and be at potential risk between versions of a given spreadsheet.

Concourse complements all other Incisive products: Locator, for spreadsheet discovery and risk assessment; Xcellerator, for spreadsheet error and risk analysis; and Validate, to authenticate information and find spreadsheet oversights.

The latest version of Concourse is available today. To schedule a demonstration, please visit booth #407 at the 2014 IIA General Audit Management Conference or email [email protected].
