All Incisive Solutions Can Now Handle Review and Analysis Activities of Extremely Large and Complex Spreadsheets

San Jose, Calif. (Business Wire) – November 15, 2011 – Incisive, a developer of enterprise-class spreadsheet analysis and management solutions, today announced that it has added Microsoft Excel 2010 64-bit support to its entire product line. The addition of Excel 64-bit support means that Incisive products can now leverage a computer’s memory processing more efficiently to handle review and analysis activities of extremely large and complex spreadsheets, including files greater than 2 GB in size. Adding Excel 64-bit support also means that Incisive solutions are no longer confined to the previous 32-bit Windows address spacing constraint.

“Being able to efficiently leverage the power of a computer’s 64-bit OS will significantly enhance our customers’ productivity,” said Kevin Swartz, software engineering lead for Incisive. “Many companies have spent years developing spreadsheets to meet the unique needs of their organizations, but, over time, these spreadsheets have grown too large to work smoothly within the previous 32-bit limitations. By adding Excel 64-bit support, our customers can now open, review and analyze their spreadsheets with greater ease than ever before.”

The Incisive products that now support Excel 64-bit are:

  • Xcellerator 1.6 – the leading spreadsheet analysis program;
  • Validate 3.2 – the premier spreadsheet auditing software application;
  • Diff Interactive 1.1 – the newest spreadsheet comparison application on the market;
  • Concourse 1.1 – the leading spreadsheet collaboration and control solution.

Besides Excel 2010 64-bit version, all Incisive products support 32- and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7; and Microsoft Excel 2003, 2007 and 2010. For more information or to purchase Incisive products, please visit www.incisive.com.
