New and enhanced tests
- #SPILL – This test highlights cells where Excel cannot return (multiple) results to the grid because the grid display area is not blank or not large enough to accept the results. It will also highlight cells when Excel does not have enough memory to perform the calculation.
- #CALC – This test highlights cells when a formula runs into a calculation error with an array or when the calculation engine encounters a formula MS Excel does not support.

New and enhanced tests
- Enhanced Constant in Formula – now offered as two tests: multiplication and division ideal for highlighting a tax calculation (multiply by percentage) or a monthly rate (divide by 12), and addition and subtraction ideal for uncovering a “fudge factor”.
- NEW Currency formatted as text – similar to number formatted as text, this test highlights cells that look like they are formatted as currency but are actually formatted as text.
- NEW Date/Time format – while Excel stores date/time as a 5 digit number, it is not practical when searching for a human readable date. This test will highlight cells formatted as date-time.
- NEW Inconsistent Precision – this test will highlight cells where the displayed precision does not match the actual precision due to custom formatting (does not apply to Currency, Accounting or Time formats).
- Enhanced Custom Tests – now include the ability to configure criteria to include date, number and percent.
Reporting
- NEW View Sheet References – shows information about cells who formulas point to other sheets.
- NEW View Old Reports – a directory named after the workbook is created and stores all reports generated.

- Overlapping Ranges – highlights cells that have formulas with ranges that are overlapping but with at least one different starting or ending point.
- Referencing Other Regions – highlights the absolute formula addresses that reference other formula regions.
- Referencing Hidden Cells – highlights formula references that refer to a hidden row/column, font size, color or background, or narrow row height or column width.
New troubleshooting capabilities with a simple right-click of a mouse:
- Cascading Referrers – chains of cells referencing each other directly/indirectly.
- Descendants – cell references that impact the current cell.
Enhanced referrers and cascade referrers with the ability to locate the referrer.

Publish Folder Subscribers – Ability to add subscribers to publish paths for email notification when a project revision is published or revoked.
Locator Module – Incisive Locator has been completely reimagined to deliver fast, accurate, and comprehensible spreadsheet discovery and risk assessment. Managing large numbers of spreadsheets over multiple networked locations can be challenging. Locator helps easily track spreadsheet assets across a large organization based on specified criteria. Further, specific spreadsheets based on a number of criteria can be easily identified.
For example:
- Author or list of authors
- Publish or changed dates
- File name, size, or location
- File properties such as title or comments
